The Sunday sermon is drawn from the readings that we hear together at the Mass. We follow the Lectionary from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. This provides, on a one year cycle, the Epistle and Gospel for the day. It is simple to use and provides a catechetical programme which produces robust Christians. Its origins reach back to the 4th Century and the choices of Scripture are unchanged since the 16th Century. It has been tried and tested!
