The S. Peter's Confirmation Badge Vive Jesu et Maria (Live Jesus and Mary)

Vive Jesu et Maria

Is the name of the S. Peter's young confirmation group. The course lasts nearly twelve months and includes a meeting each week, a Pilgrimage to Walsingham, first confession and a weeking away at Ascot Priory. This year was Ascot IX and the best attended yet. Avtivites include, Daily Offices (Lauds, Mid-day prayer, Vespers and Benediction Compline) Daily Mass, endless games of rounders and crazy cricket, The Wood Game, Orienteering, the annual play and the Saturday evening ghost stories. There are two teams Lowder (red ) and Wainright (Blue) who struggle for the winning title as Team of the Year with a complex...and often random, points structure.

The weekend has grown and developed over a decade next year there will be old and proven activities and somthing new. There is always a reserve programme for use in wet weather.
