Shrine of Our Lady In festal array
In common with all catholic christians we honour Mary, the Mother of Jesus. We seek her prayers, as we would the prayers of others close to Jesus in every part of their life.
S. Peter's has long been a pilgrimage parish to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. There is an annual pilgrimage, including all who are training to be confirmed, and a visit by the Year 5 children from S. Peter's Church of England School. Within the Church of England the leading organisation spreading devotion to Our Lady and understanding of her role in our salvation is the Society of Mary,
